Undergraduate Opportunities at Rutgers Business School-New Brunswick

Daniel (Dan) Farber serves as president and CEO of Bright Lights USA in Barrington, New Jersey, where he strives for outstanding customer satisfaction from defense industry clients. Dan Farber received his academic training from the Rutgers Business School (RBS) in New Brunswick, where he earned a bachelor’s degree.

Part of a university system with roots in the colonial era, RBS was founded in 1929. Since then, the school has grown to encompass six undergraduate fields of study at its New Brunswick location: finance, marketing, leadership and management, business analytics and IT, supply chain management, and accounting.

The mission of the New Brunswick programs include placing students in professional careers, conducting research into best business practices, encouraging membership in professional interest groups, and supporting faculty research. One measure of success in meeting these goals is the school’s 28th-place ranking among schools in the United States for median starting salaries for graduates ($55,000 per year), as reported by Bloomberg Media.

Other accolades include being named ninth best return on investment for 2015 by Fortune magazine. Poets & Quants named RBS the 25th best undergraduate business program for 2016, and its supply chain management program was ranked fifth in the nation for 2016 by Gartner.
