Supporting the National MS Society at Walk MS Events

For nearly three decades, Bright Lights USA founder Daniel “Dan” Farber has managed all operations at the mechanical and electro-mechanical parts manufacturer as company president and chief executive officer. Beyond his work with Bright Lights, which is based in Barrington, New Jersey, Dan Farber supports charitable organizations, such as the ALS Association and National MS Society.

The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society is a not-for-profit dedicated to MS research and eradicating the disease completely. Beyond making a contribution to the organization, there are a number of ways for groups and individuals to get involved with the National MS Society. One of the most public ways of supporting the organization and its cause is to register for a local Walk MS event.

The easiest way of joining the Walk MS initiative is to visit www.nationalmssociety.com and enter a zip code, at which point the website will provide a list of locations and dates of upcoming walks. The website also provides information about similar events, such as charity bike rides. Individuals who do not have the time or ability to engage in a walk can use the MS Society website to sponsor an individual participant or walk team.

More information about walks, as well as other advocacy and volunteer opportunities, can be found online.
